Hero awakening is a separate track that sits on top of levels and stars. It opens for 50 awakening shards, and the 40 levels that follow cost 2,870 more. Every level raises the main stats and adds damage resistance, and beyond the track comes breakthrough, half of whose gain goes to the whole roster at once.
What awakening gives
An awakening level adds HP, ATK and DEF to the hero, and the price per level rises in steps. The table lists the reference levels of the track.
| Level | HP | ATK | DEF | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 29,728 | 847 | 266 | 10 |
| 10 | 120,972 | 3,448 | 1,084 | 30 |
| 20 | 222,354 | 6,338 | 1,994 | 50 |
| 30 | 323,737 | 9,229 | 2,903 | 100 |
| 40 | 425,119 | 12,119 | 3,812 | 0 |
On top of those three rows every awakening level adds damage resistance: 1% at level 1 and 5% at level 40. It is the most expensive percentage stat in the game by Might, around a million per unit. The Might of the awakening skill grows from 160,000 to 800,000, and all fifteen awakenable heroes share the same numbers.
Breakthrough: three separate tracks
Beyond awakening itself comes breakthrough, built as three tracks of three hundred levels each rather than one. Every track takes 4,500 awakening shards and is raised independently, while the second and third wait for the ones before them.
| Stage | For the hero | For every hero | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | ATK +8,750 | ATK +1,800 | immediately |
| Second | HP +693,000 | HP +300,000 | stage one at level 10 |
| Third | DEF +3,750 | DEF +1,800 | stages one and two at level 20 |
The third column carries the key point: half of the gain goes to every hero, not only to the one being raised. Breakthrough on a single hero therefore strengthens the whole roster, which makes the strongest hero the natural place to spend it.
