A covert operation sends heroes away for a few hours and brings back XP, equipment stones and materials. There are 70 operations, each with a quality and a secrecy level: the higher the level, the harder the hero requirement and the bigger the reward.
While the heroes are away the operation can be intercepted, and you can do the same to others. An operation allows up to 3 interceptions.

What this means for you
This is the biggest source of hero XP in the game: one top operation returns over twelve million XP plus a universal UR hero fragment, equipment stones and leather. The fragment is the real prize.
Assisting someone else's operation, or intercepting one, pays exactly one tenth of the main reward. A tenth of millions is still a lot, so always help your neighbours.
Requirements apply to the whole party: the top operation wants three heroes above level one hundred, two of the highest quality and one at four stars.
Auto-dispatch unlocks at VIP 5 and super mode at VIP 12.
