Every hero wears their own set of four items: sword, armour, bracers and boots. There is no shared set for the squad, so a team of five needs twenty items.
Rarities
| Rarity | What to do with it |
|---|---|
| Lowest | cannot be forged or strengthened at all |
| Next one | caps at strengthen level fifteen, no threshold bonuses, a dead end |
| Middle | the only one with bonuses against monsters |
| Top | the only one with stars |
Slot profiles depend on rarity
On the lower rarities bracers give only HP and boots only ATK. On the higher ones all four slots carry two base stats plus percentages. The habit "bracers mean defence" stops working as rarity grows.
Where to stop
Strengthening and stars are interlocked: strengthening waits on a star, a star waits on strengthening. Every star but the last is reachable at strengthen level forty.
Threshold rewards land at levels 10, 20, 30 and 40. After that there are none: levels forty-one to sixty give a linear gain only and exist for the final star.
Materials
The synthesis chain is lossless both ways: each step is made of four of the previous one and breaks back down into four. Disassembling an item returns stones and materials in full, but gold is not refunded.
The forge
Its level unlocks exactly four things: forging the three upper rarities and access to stars at level twenty. Levels twenty-one to thirty give power only.
