Pandemic Experience: difficulties, rallies and the alliance boss

Contents

Pandemic Experience consists of two challenges: a personal one, where the player summons and defeats monsters of rising levels, and an alliance one, where the leader summons a boss for 30 minutes. The personal progress of members unlocks bosses for the whole alliance, which makes the event weightier than its window suggests. The rules come from the in-game help as of 10 September 2026, and the tips are gathered from player reports.

Personal challenge

The difficulty is chosen before the start from those already unlocked and cannot be changed until the event ends. Difficulty 1 is open from the beginning, and the next one unlocks only after every level of the chosen difficulty is cleared, taking effect in the next run of the event. Monsters are summoned in order from the lowest level, and a win opens the summon of the next. When a monster is too strong for one player, a rally is called and alliance members join as in an ordinary rally.

Rewards are paid for the number of monsters defeated, and beating a boss of a certain level brings a reward to the entire alliance.

Alliance challenge

The alliance boss is summoned by the leader or an officer, one at a time and strictly in order. The summon needs a set number of members to have cleared the specified stages of the personal challenge, and the member list is locked at the moment the event starts. Once summoned, the boss stays for 30 minutes, and only those who fought it receive the reward. One retry is allowed after a failure: a second failure closes this boss and every boss after it. Each boss reward is paid once.

Going higher

Below are tips from the community; they cannot be confirmed in the game itself, but they agree with the rules.

  • Push the difficulty at every run: some alliance bosses require a set number of members to have cleared difficulty 9 or higher, so personal progress works for everyone.
  • The rewards include UR hero shards, Raven Essence and diamonds, and the essence alone makes the event worth playing.
  • The build that works against world bosses works here too: SSR gauntlets for damage to monsters sometimes give more than UR gauntlets meant for fights with players. Gear choice is described on the Hero gear page.
  • Activate War Frenzy by scouting another city before attacking; the attack bonus is described on the Shields page.
  • Without a strong squad the top difficulties are cleared by rallies: a monster is too strong for one player, but the alliance finishes it together.
