Arena: levels, cost and upgrades

Arena opens one-on-one duels and the arena shop, where a season placement pays diamonds and skill badges. The Might of the training bots shows the price of climbing: between 100th and 300th place it nearly halves. The building unlocks after Sanctuary level 7 and goes up to level 1. Only one can be built.

Levels and cost

Reference levels of the building: what it gives, how much Might it brings and what the next step costs.

Level	Might	Cost	Time
1	100	Grain 480, Timber 360	under a minute

Full upgrade

Taking the building from level 1 to 1 costs Grain 480, Timber 360. Pure build time without speed-ups: under a minute.

This building gives no stat bonus: it unlocks an option rather than percentages.

How to use it

The Arena costs 480 Grain and 360 Timber and goes up in under a minute. The Raven Nest, the Curio Hall, Black Ops and the Nomad Trader carry exactly the same price, so 840 resources change nothing at Sanctuary level 7.

The Arena pays for itself faster than any other building in the city. A win at the lowest arena brings 50,000 Antitoxin and a loss 25,000, while five free fights come to 250,000 Antitoxin a day. That first day returns nearly three hundred times the resources it cost, and every day after pays the same.

The season standing is counted separately and pays diamonds: 15,200 for first place at the highest arena. Skill badges come from the same standings, up to 21,000 a season. Both payouts come off a building that cost 840 resources and stopped at its first and only level, and none of them exists without it.

The Arena never occupies the build queue, and that sets it apart at level 7: three Infirmaries need 299 days 4 hours each and the Research Lab 349 days. It has a single level, so the 840 resources are spent once and never come back to it. The Arena brings 100 Might, a figure that vanishes in the city total next to the 361,000 of the lab.
