← Undead Siege: city defense and rewards

**Undead Siege** sends waves of blight from a plague-ridden prison against the cities of an alliance, 20 waves to a stage across 10 stages of difficulty. The alliance starts the event, and every member holds the defense on their own territory. A 48-hour cooldown separates one run from the next, and 180 seconds are given to set the squad up before the fighting starts. The draw is antitoxin, paid out here in larger amounts than anywhere else in the game.

The difficulty is chosen in advance, each stage covers its own Sanctuary range, and the Might required climbs with the number. The table shows which stage suits a given Sanctuary level and what the alliance track of that stage pays in full.

| Stage | Sanctuary | Might needed | Antitoxin per stage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 13-15 | 2,414,269 | 16,704,000 |
| 2 | 14-16 | 3,293,051 | 20,880,000 |
| 3 | 15-17 | 4,229,772 | 26,100,000 |
| 4 | 17-20 | 6,088,213 | 52,800,000 |
| 5 | 19-22 | 8,014,806 | 75,400,000 |
| 6 | 21-24 | 11,522,865 | 119,700,000 |
| 7 | 23-26 | 14,019,948 | 138,800,000 |
| 8 | 25-28 | 17,411,540 | 196,300,000 |
| 9 | 26-29 | 20,155,943 | 202,600,000 |
| 10 | 27-30 | 24,471,960 | 255,600,000 |

## How the alliance opens it

The event does not start on its own: members first gather clues on Falcon Quests. Defeating rebels, vanquishing a blight legion and slaying a wandering blight give 300 clues each, while clearing blights, aiding alliance members, resource recovery, harvesting resources and alliance excavation give 10.

Once enough clues are in, R4 and R5 send the Falcons out to locate the prison. They also schedule the challenge and pick the difficulty, where a higher stage means stronger enemies and better rewards. Each successful activation puts the search on cooldown.

Not every member is eligible for the defense: it takes more than 48 hours in the alliance, offline time under 72 hours, and a territory that meets the level requirement of the chosen stage and is not in a cross-server state. Waves roll over the territories of everyone who qualifies, and blight attacks ignore shield protection, so a shield is no help here. A territory that has been breached is left alone for the rest of the event.

## Two reward tracks

Two counters run side by side, and they count different things. The personal one looks at the waves a player holds off alone, and its thresholds sit at waves 1, 4, 8, 10, 13, 16 and 20, all of which fit inside a single run. The alliance one adds up the waves the alliance holds off together and starts at 50, reaching 300 on the first five stages, 500 on stages 6 and 7, and 800 on stages 8 and 9, then 1,200 on stage 10. Alliance rewards go only to members who have been in the alliance for more than 48 hours.

The top threshold of 1,200 waves is a crowd figure, since one player adds at most twenty waves to it per run. A two-day cooldown means a missed run is never caught up, and an alliance that turns out at half strength falls short of the upper thresholds however strong its squads are.

## What it pays

Antitoxin doubles as hero experience, which is what makes the payout worth the trip. The alliance track of stage 10 pays 255,600,000 of it in full, against 1,188,000 an hour of idle income, or 9,504,000 from a full eight-hour bank, so a single stage is worth nearly twenty-seven of those banks.

The personal track pays in other things: build, research and training speedups, alliance coins and Raven Essence. Antitoxin, herbs, level supplies and skill badges belong to the alliance track and only start at wave 50.
