← Daily routine: idle income, ops and arena
**Daily routine** is a short list of what is worth doing every day, ordered by how much you lose when you skip it. The items at the top overflow and stop paying out on their own, while the ones lower down simply cannot be caught up tomorrow. Every entry links to the page that covers it in full.
## Collect idle income
Idle income accumulates for eight hours and then stops. The window is widened by survivors assigned to the Explorer Camp, each of whom adds time to it.
Idle income grows with campaign progress rather than with buildings, so before a long break it pays more to push the campaign than to finish another farm level.
## Send covert operations
Covert operations are the main source of hero experience. The daily yield depends on the level of the operations center and grows from about half a million at level one to roughly fifteen million at the top.
## Take the free arena battles
Five battles in the lowest arena are worth up to 250,000 Antitoxin, see Arenas.
## Push the expedition
Each difficulty is three branches of twenty levels. Clearing a whole difficulty gives 780 medals for the first and 10,920 for the twelfth, while a single branch is a third of that. Entry opens on Might, about 1.15 million for the first, 7 million for the twelfth and 16.9 million for the thirtieth. Details are on its own page, Alliance expedition.
## Claim the free pulls
There are more free pulls than it seems, and all of them come round daily: one free call in Surprise Encounter, one free coin per Wishing Wheel, and one free pull in each of the five recruit pools, each on its own timer.
## Close the current phase
Survival Battle and Top Healer only score actions from the running phase, so supplies are spent on schedule: speedups in the building phase, energy in the raven phase, recruit pulls in the hero phase.
## What battle passes ask for most
Passes hold 675 tasks, but they repeat a narrow set. The table shows what comes up most often.
| Task | Occurrences |
|---|---|
| Join or start a rally | 89 |
| Train soldiers | 52 |
| Log in on consecutive days | 51 |
| Spend speed-ups | 41 |
| Gather resources | 33 |
| Upgrade buildings | 32 |
| Complete covert operations | 30 |
| Complete falcon quests | 29 |
Rallies and troop training close more tasks than anything else, while covert operations and Falcon Quests get done anyway for their own rewards. Of the 675 tasks, 203 reset daily.
## Assist and intercept covert operations
Assisting someone else's operation is counted separately from build help, and both assists and intercepts are capped at five a day. An assist pays a tenth of the main reward, so the expensive operations are the ones worth joining, see covert operations.
## Take Falcon Quests
Half of them cost no energy at all. Higher falcon difficulty makes high-quality quests far more common, see Falcon Quests.
## Call the alliance to a dig
A spot one player digs in two hours takes under five minutes with five diggers, because speed scales with the square of the number of diggers, see digs.
## Help the alliance
Rewards count for the first hundred helps a day, see Alliance.
What to put into the build queue between sessions is suggested by the [build calculator](/en/wiki/build-calc).
