← Bind for Reward: linking the account

**Bind for Reward** is a window in the special events tab that leads to the account settings of the publisher's platform: the game account is linked to an external account, and the link pays a reward. It appears at Sanctuary level 6 and stays in the tab until the link is made. The link matters beyond the reward: without it the account lives on a single device and is lost together with it.

## How it works

The window belongs to the publisher's platform rather than to the game itself, and the window shows the reward on its own: it can differ between servers and change over time. The link is made once in the account settings the window leads to, and afterwards the game can be opened from any device under the same account.

The reward for linking is small next to [[gift-codes|gift codes]] and the starting events, but the link keeps everything else: the city, the heroes and the purchases. It is worth doing in the first days, along with the rest of the [[first-days|first days plan]].
