Antitoxin: where to get it and what it is for

**Antitoxin** is the hero experience currency: every new hero level is paid with it, and a full roster consumes more of it than any other hero resource. It arrives in two ways, as rewards for play and as workshop output, and there is no storehouse for it, so the whole stock goes to whoever raids the city. Over the whole game building upgrades pay the most, up to 199,000,000 for a single level; per day at the top levels Covert Ops and workshops lead, and Level Supplies from packs give the one-time jump.

## What it is spent on

Antitoxin goes only into hero levels. The price of each step grows with the level, and the cost table sits on every hero page, for example on Arthur. The Sanctuary sets the level cap, and hoarding Antitoxin before the Sanctuary rises makes no sense: there is nothing to spend it on, and a raider takes the whole stock.

Antitoxin comes in three forms. The resource lands on the account at once, the items "1K Antitoxin" and "5K Antitoxin" wait in the bag until used, and Level Supplies pay whatever the Sanctuary level allows at the moment of opening. Supplies are worth holding: a box opened in the first levels pays a small share of what it would pay later.

## Where most of it comes from

The answer depends on what is counted: the total over the whole game, the daily flow, or a one-time jump. Every reward that contains Antitoxin is collected on the Where to Get It page; here are three views of the same numbers.

Over the whole game building upgrades lead: 15,365,510,570 units across all buildings and levels, up to 199,000,000 for one level, more than all other rewards combined. Next come Undead Siege with 1,104,884,000, Level Supplies with 1,094,961,240 and monster rallies with 1,040,113,191. Idle time in the Campaign gives 383,146,640, the secret chapters of the Explorer Dungeon 371,689,698, the alliance boss on the Hero Road 369,191,000, Falcon Quests 351,889,740, alliance targets 190,365,530 and Covert Ops 138,129,670.

Per day the picture is different, and the higher the city level, the more so. Upgrading the Sanctuary to level 30 pays 199,000,000, but the build takes 102.6 days without speedups, that is 1,939,000 per day; at middle levels, where an upgrade takes about five days, it comes to 9,300,000 per day. The top covert operation pays 12,177,000 for 4 hours, 3,044,250 per hour, and with dispatches running back to back that is up to 73,062,000 per day. Five workshops at the cap yield 31,159,920 per day. At the top levels, where buildings take weeks, operations and workshops pay several times more than upgrades, and they are the main flow of Antitoxin for a developed city.

A one-time jump comes from Level Supplies in paid packs. The packs hold 23,773 SR boxes and 5,269 SSR boxes with Antitoxin, and at Sanctuary 35 one SSR box opens into 12,712,000, a UR box into 38,136,000. One such pack covers several hero levels at once, which no daily activity does. Ordinary Blight hunting on the map yields 6,452,020 across the whole target list, hundreds of times less than rallies, so energy spent for Antitoxin is better spent on rallies.

## The workshop: a steady flow

The Antitoxin Workshop unlocks after Sanctuary level 5, up to five can be built, and each produces 259,666 units per hour at level 30. Five workshops yield 1,298,330 per hour, that is 31,159,920 per day and 934,797,600 per month. Rewards are paid once, while production never stops, so over a long stretch the workshops catch up with the largest one-time sources. Antitoxin has no storehouse, and everything accumulated sits on the account unprotected.

## What the publisher says

The publisher's official guide lists the Antitoxin sources without numbers: the workshop and the stable, building upgrade rewards, Falcon Quests, Covert Ops of one's own and plundered ones up to five times a day, caravans, Blight hunting and events such as Cheese Trap, plus paid packs. Upgrade rewards, Falcon Quests, Covert Ops, hunting, events and packs are confirmed by the tables above. Caravans and the Private Stable pay Antitoxin only through Level Supplies. The daily plunder limit and the energy cost of hunting are not verified on this wiki, see the methodology.
