← About: who runs it and where numbers come from

**Unofficial community wiki** for Last Asylum: Plague. The project has no ties to the publisher or the developer, takes no money from them and does not speak for them. The pages cover heroes, buildings, events and the economy of the game, and every number on them carries a check date and a link to its source. The game itself is described on the About the game page, and the way numbers are checked on the Verification method page.

## What is here

- guides to the start and to upgrading;
- a base of heroes, buildings and events;
- gift codes and the calendar of events.

## What is not here

Game numbers are not published here without a check date and a link to the
source, and other people's art is not posted without a clear picture of the
rights to it.

How the markup works is explained in the [markup help](/en/wiki/markdown-help).
The rules for edits are collected on the [Editing rules](/en/wiki/editing-rules) page.

## Who runs the wiki

The wiki rests on a community of players. Pages are written and edited by people who play the game themselves, not by an editorial team of the publisher. The project has no official status and no advertising deals with the game, so hero ratings, spending advice and upgrade orders reflect the experience of players rather than the position of the developer. Editing is open to the editor role. An administrator grants that role on request by mail, and the order of work is set out on the [Editing rules](/en/wiki/editing-rules) page.

## Where the numbers come from

The numbers on the pages come from three places. The main one is the set of numeric tables built into the game application, version 1.0.87, which holds hero stats, building costs and times, event rewards and recruit odds. Such tables are assembled automatically. A program reads the application data and puts the numbers into the text, so a figure on a page matches what is built into the game rather than someone's memory. The second source is the publisher's patch notes. When a number came from them, the link to them stands in the facts card of the page. The third source is screenshots from the live game, taken when a mechanic has to be shown as it looks in practice.

The prose is written by people. Explanations, advice and hero ratings are composed by a member, not by a program, and they are checked separately from the tables. How that check works is described in detail on the Verification method page.

## The "Verified" and "Last edited" dates

The facts card of every page shows two dates, and they mean different things. "Verified" shows the day the numbers on the page were last checked against the game data, and an edit to layout or wording does not move it. "Last edited" updates on every save of the page, even when a single comma changed. A fresh edit next to an old check date means the text was touched while the numbers were not re-checked. The line below is "Source": a link to the game page on Google Play when the numbers come from the application data, or to the publisher's page when they came from there.

## How to report a mistake

A wrong number or an outdated piece of advice can be reported in two ways. The fastest is a comment under the page itself, because it shows which place is meant. Comments go through moderation. The second way is the mailbox listed on the [Contact](/en/wiki/contacts) page. Letters are accepted in English and Russian, and a reply arrives within a few days. A member with the editor role can correct the page directly, without waiting for a reply.

## Rights to game materials

Icons, art, names and texts of Last Asylum: Plague belong to the publisher 37GAMES GLOBAL and to the developer of the game. On the wiki they are used for reference, so that a reader recognizes a hero or an item, and their placement has no commercial purpose. The wiki's own texts are written by members of the community. If a rights holder believes that some material should not be shown, it is taken down on a letter to the address from the Contact page.
